Rustic

Not my favorite project we did. I did use tape for straight lines but it didn't quite work for me and well this project made me more than mad, honestly.  The out put over all was better than i thought. My color scheme was blue, pink and green. I used acrylic. the best part about this art work i think, was i got to do my signature style.  I used my comb to make the house look rustic.

rockstar

this would be my collage piece...not my favorite.  for this collage i really wanted it to look more realistic. i didn't want words in this piece because i wanted it to be more realistic.  My cousin Ranley was my inspiration. She mans the world to me and i enjoyed doing this piece.  next time my goal is to find more lighters and darkers of each color.  i did waste a good bit of time trying to find the perfect colors.

Army Girl

Army girl was one of the hardest pieces I've ever done.  I don't like to do people, but I pushed myself.  All of this is acrylic paint. My inspiration was my cousin Bailey who is in the army.  She gives me courage and pushes me forward.  I wanted to keep things in a gray scale because I wanted the flag to be a main focus.  I believe this was successful; I'm proud of my art work.  The only thing I would like to fix is the background.  The hardest part of all was matching the colors and doing the digital camo.

Confidence

This is my first piece of the semester.  I named it Confidnece.  I enjoyed the process more than the ending solution.  The colors were done with a hair comb that I just happen to have in my purse one day.  i liked the texture it gave and went for it.  I used red blue and yellow just to get me started and along the way they mixed.  I wouldn't mind doing some other things to this or doing things a little differently.

work in process

though this is a work in progress it is by far one of my favorite and most meaningful drawings.
